Ye Olde Technology Shop: Small Art Print (4” x 6”)
Ye Olde Technology Shop: Small Art Print (4” x 6”)
Mounted art print based on the painting 'Ye Olde Technology Shop' by Nick Dale.
The scene depicts the view down Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Dorset but in a slightly surreal form as the scene depicts a shop selling helium used to enable dogs to float. The dog is trying to get to a dropped ice-cream cone but is unable to reach as it floats above it.
On the right-hand side stands an unidentified bird character which I have used as a character in my 'Perplexing Bird' series of paintings. As is common with this character what their role is in this scene is anybody's guess but it appears to disapprove of the idea of dogs that can defy gravity.
