Shipping policy

Shipping:

If ordering items fulfilled by myself or Teemill the maximum shipping charge is £4.00, regardless of however many items you order. 

if ordering items fulfilled by both myself and Teemill at the same time then the maximum potential shipping charge is £8.00, regardless of however many items you order. 

The items fulfilled by myself are Small & Medium Art Prints. The items fulfilled by Teemill are Large Art Prints, Tote Bags, Shopper Tote Bags, Mugs & Jigsaw Puzzles.

The exceptions to this are Original Paintings & Gift Cards which are referred to in separate sections below. Neither of these items incur a shipping charge.

Shipping is sent out using Tracked UK Standard Royal Mail.

We do not currently offer any other shipping rates, speeds or providers.

We currently only ship to the following locations:

  • United Kingdom
  • Guernsey
  • Jersey
  • Isle of man

Processing of Orders:

Processing of orders typically takes up to 3 working days and UK shipping typically takes 3-5 working days. Delays may occur beyond our control; especially at busy times of year.

On submission of your order, you will be sent a confirmation email from our fulfilment partner Teemill. This will outline your order details, act as your VAT receipt and will provide an estimation of when the order should be with you by.

Once the order is ready for shipping you will receive a dispatch email from Teemill that will confirm that your order has been shipped. This includes the Royal Mail tracking number or numbers for the order, as well as a link to their support pages.

Please note that orders of multiple items may be shipped out separately. This is to ensure that items reach our customers as soon as possible rather than waiting for the very last item to be produced. However many parcels are dispatched this comes at no extra cost to the customer who only pays a single shipping fee.

What if you need to change your delivery address?

You can only change your order’s shipping address if it hasn’t yet been dispatched.

In your order confirmation email there is a link you can click to change your address.

If you don’t make this change in time and your order is sent out to an incorrect address, it will likely fail its delivery and it will be returned to Teemill. Teemill’s support team will then contact you to confirm the correct shipping address and arrange for the order to be resent.

What if you want to sent the item as a gift to someone?

You can use the checkout form to have the order dispatched directly to a gift recipient’s address. Simply choose different shipping and billing addresses.

In order to avoid wasting paper, orders are not dispatched with a physical invoice. This does mean that it is not possible to add a physical note or gift message to an order. It also means that the recipient will not see the pricing or purchaser information.

The order tracking information is included in the dispatch email from Teemill; which is sent to the email address provided at checkout.  

It is suggested that you may wish to advise the recipient to look out for a parcel being delivered so they know where it has come from.

What packaging is the order shipped in?

The orders are shipped in plant-based packaging to avoid environmental waste.

Prints are sent out in flat card-backed envelopes to help prevent the print being damaged in the post and to avoid the print being curled up in a tube.

Mugs are sent out in small cardboard boxes to prevent them being damaged.

Jigsaws are sent out in sealed cardboard boxes with an image of the design on the box lid.

What if the order is not received despite being dispatched or it is received damaged?

It is important to us at Nick Dale Artist that we provide a high standard of customer service and we would hate for this rare event to occur.

The tracking number/s in the dispatch email can be used to see where an item is on its delivery. Please allow sufficient time for the item to be delivered. Delays may occur beyond our control; especially at busy times of year.

Original Paintings

Original Paintings are now available for either pick up from Charlton Down in Dorset or for delivery by post at no additional cost. Just choose your preferred option at checkout.

Should you wish to purchase an original painting and then collect it from Charlton Down in Dorset then it is suggested that you contact me first to arrange a mutually agreeable pick up time. If you intend to make use of the original painting pick up option then please purchase any original painting separately to any other items you wish to buy to ensure the pick up option is available at checkout for the original painting.

For larger paintings, due to their size, weight and delicacy, the pick up option would be the safer option. If the postal option is chosen then the painting will be well packaged to protect it in transit.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are sent out by email and therefore do not incur any shipping charge.
