The scene depicts a small wooden rowing boat tied up in Lyme Regis harbour, Dorset.
The title seemed appropriate as at the back of the boat there is a brush (presumably to maintain the boat's appearance) but the boat appears to be in need of some attention. In the bottom of the boat is a white plastic container used to bail water.
